Kitá Wines respects the balance of man and its surroundings.  We believe that wine is a balance between soil, climate, location and taste.  Kitá wines feels that winemaking is the heart that carries the voice of the vineyard through to the bottle.  All of our wines have been harvested by hand based on a balance of chemistry and taste to reserve the highest quality.  The fruit is hand sorted in the vineyard and again in the winery to ensure only the best grapes are carried into the wines.  Made from exclusive blocks of both our estate and select vineyards, our wines symbolize the essence of terroir driven winemaking.

2013 Grenache Blanc

A straw-colored wine is laden with bright aromatics of white flowers, peaches, green apple, and subtle herbs. The intensity of the palate brings out flavors of floral honey, citrus, green apple, and a saline minerality. The dimensions of richness in this wine are balanced by the bright acidity, creamy texture, and intense, yet clean lasting finish.

2014 Chardonnay

This straw colored wine is flatteringly easy to enjoy. Its aromatics of green apple, lemon zest, and white peach hit you with their exuberant charms from the first encounter. The wine’s mineral and citrus propelled flavor creates a brisk acidity that tingles your taste buds. The texture is crisp, yet creamy which coats your mouth and leaves the palate wanting more.

2015 Grenache Rosé

The Grenache grapes that make up this wine are intentionally picked for the Rosé program, and the pale pink salmon color and lively, zesty aromas highlight this. The fresh aromas of fresh strawberries, melon, rose petals, orange blossoms, and stone fruit pave the way for a refreshing experience you will not soon forget. The purity from the Grenache grapes gives this dry rosé a rich and intense flavor while maintaining its vibrancy. Lees contact during fermentation allowed for this wines luscious mid-palate to blend perfectly with the bright acidity and creamy texture. Stone fruit and citrus play on your palate, while the finish packs great depth. 100% Grenache Rosé.

2013 Sauvignon Blanc – SOLD OUT

 SOLD OUT – NEW RELEASE APRIL 2017.  This pale, straw colored wine is bursting with aromatics, yet beautifully fresh and crisp. Initial aromatics show hints of citrus, gooseberry, melon, and floral. The honey and citrus aromas in this wine precede a creamy palate of melon, lychee, and green apple flavors. The minerality gives the acid a firm lift and highlights its crisp, clean palate. The chalky nuances allow for a complex and round finish emphasizing the wine’s elegance.

This is a garnet colored wine with enticing aromas of cherry cola, raspberry, floral-violet, and earthy attributes. The aromas also exudes hints of cracked pepper, tobacco, and vanilla. The fresh taste is refined and elegant, yet playful with flavors
of brambleberry, cranberry, gooseberry and pomegranate. Medium-bodied with a voluptuous, velvety and silky texture. Balance in this wine is expressed beautifully in the rounded tannins, medium acidity, and mouthfeel that dances on your palate rather than overpowering it. The cool growing region and marine influence highlight the majestic charm of this wine with an elegant, lengthy finish.

This Rhone blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Carignane highlight the beauty of these varietals.

A deep colored wine that is bursting with exuberant freshness and complexity with aromas of violet, blueberries, and cherries are accompanied by hints of coffee and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, yet balanced with traces of spice, blueberries, and rose petals. The acidity in the wine emphasizes the balance of dense tannins to its elegant long finish.

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a beautifully deep colored wine with a nose of fresh boysenberry, black currant, tobacco, and clove, which is complemented with hints of vanilla and cassis. The dusty tannins provide a backdrop for the dark fruits and density of this wine. 2012 Pinot Noir

A medium garnet colored wine with aromas of cherry cola, rose petals, exotic spices, vanilla, and undergrowth. The taste
is elegant, yet powerful, with beautiful floral and berry flavors reminiscent of cranberry, raspberry, and cherry. This is followed with deep, underlying layers of minerality. The purity and balance of this wine portrays hints of spice and cedar that coats the tongue with great acidity in the mid-palate. Integrated oak and deep, rich earth highlights the beautiful fresh fruits of the cool growing region that finishes with smooth, rounded tannins.

This right bank of Bordeaux inspired blend is comprised primarily of Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is lush, comprising of blueberries, pencil shavings, spice, and black cherries. The power and grace of this wine is immediate and highlights the depth of flavors which include mulberry, violet, green olives, cedar, and underlying mineral characteristics.
