Kitá Wines respects the balance of man and its surroundings.  We believe that wine is a balance between soil, climate, location and taste.  Kitá wines feels that winemaking is the heart that carries the voice of the vineyard through to the bottle.  All of our wines have been harvested by hand based on a balance of chemistry and taste to reserve the highest quality.  The fruit is hand sorted in the vineyard and again in the winery to ensure only the best grapes are carried into the wines.  Made from exclusive blocks of both our estate and select vineyards, our wines symbolize the essence of terroir driven winemaking.

2019 Sauvignon Blanc

The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is a pale lemon colored wine that highlights bright aromatics of passionfruit, guava, lemongrass, lemon curd and gooseberry. The palate is bright and yet mouth-filling, with flavors of crisp ripe apple, prickly pear and white peach, while minerality drives the bright acidity. The creamy texture leads to a clean, long finish leaving you with mouth watering lingering notes.

2017 Chardonnay

The natural balance and complexity of this wine can be attributed to the sandy soils and beauty from Dijon clones 76 and 96. Sparkling Wine

2018 Šuqštay

Šuqštay means “it’s bright” in the native Chumash language of Samala. Šuqštay joins T’aya, Spe’y, and Kalaš in our Blending the Elements collection representing the fourth natural element – fire. It represents the sun, and serves as the provider of light, warmth, and growth.

This Sparkling wine has aromatics of lemon, citrus, mango rind, and candied ginger.  It also has hints of toasted bread, white floral, and crème brûlée.  The mouthfeel shows its freshness with a touch of brioche.  The brightness of this Sparkling wine carries from mid-palate to the finish.  It has really tight bubbles that bursts with creaminess.  This was aged for 3 years on lees.

Like the 2016, this wine was carefully hand riddled and hand disgorged without freezing.
